SOCIALITE LIFE was tipped off by a spy that Kate Hudson and someone very much resembling actor Jason Statham were spotted Monday evening on a date. Statham is currently dating Alex Zosman and attended Hudson's Halloween bash last month, so take this gossipy musing at face value.

A witness at the Bel Air hotel claims the Transporter actor lookalike was out with the star of My Best Friend's Girl for a meet-up Monday evening. The couple enjoyed a steady flow of dirty martinis at the bar, according to the witness. Kate was reportedly sporting "a white pretty blouse, indigo jeans and a cool-looking ring on her finger." And all this, on a school night. Scandalous!

Kate has been nominated for the 35th Annual People's Choice Award on the catergory of 'Favorite Leading Lady' alongside Anne Hathaway and Queen Latifah. The winners will be announced at a live event hosted by Latifah at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on January 7th, 2009.

Kate Hudson can’t have a conversation without swearing.

The “Fool’s Gold” star was delighted when she read the script for her new movie because it reflected her real-life foul mouth.

She said: “I swear a lot in ‘My Best Friend’s Girl.’ But I actually talk like that. It was fun to swear in a movie. In real life, I can’t hold a conversation without swearing, unless I have a script.”

The actress – more famed for her roles in romantic comedies – has previously admitted she loved the chance to experience playing a sexually aggressive character in “My Best Friend’s Girl.”

She said: “I got to say and do certain things that most people say to each other in normal, everyday life. I got a little taste of what those ‘Sex and the City’ girls were up to for so long, which was fun.”

However, Kate – who is divorced from Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson – tries to be more careful with her language in front of four-year-old son Ryder.

She added: “Now that I have a son, I don’t swear as often on a day-to-day basis. But boy, yeah, I can throw out some bad words every once in a while.”

Kate Hudson is dating her childhood pal, basketball star Baron Davis, according to reports.

The Almost Famous actress has been involved with a string of eligible bachelors since splitting from husband Chris Robinson in 2006, including Owen Wilson and cycling ace Lance Armstrong

And Hudson is now rumored to be romancing new Los Angeles Clippers star Davis, who has been her friend since the age of 16, after they were spotted on a night out in Los Angeles together, according to Star magazine.

A source tells the tabloid: "Kate and Baron looked like they were on a date. They enjoyed a few drinks together and whispered in each other's ear throughout the night. At the end, they jumped into his car and drove back to her house in Pacific Palisades."

"They've been spending more and more time together since Baron moved back to L.A. this summer."

It’s nearing the end of October and we all know what that means don’t we party goers? Yes it’s that time of time of the year when we come upon the craziest night of the year. The one night when the whole world forgets about it’s cares and its worries and just goes stark raving mad!

Tie in with this it is also when the latest in our celebrity lovelies decide to show off their latest wares and their latest dresses and this year is no different. Kate Hudson, who last year threw one of the bashes of the season also got into the party spirit last weekend dressed as a “60’s flight attendant”. Joining her in the festivities was Courtney Cox (dressed as a witch) and husband David Arquette dressed as a Warlock.

Not to be left pout in the cold it would appear that Winona Ryder appeared as a mouse, Cindy Crawford dressed up as Amy Winehouse and Rachel Zoe appeared as a flapper – how the other half lives eh?
